Omega Replica

Omega Replica had only four watches in the beginning: a time-only tourbillon, a GMT tourbillon, a chronograph rattrapante, and a Chronograph Tourbillon.

It was over! Magnum opus was the omega seamaster replica. The tourbillon clock is a highly complex piece. A tourbillon-chronograph was an extremely rare combination of complications at the time. Only a few watch companies had the expertise and talent required to create and implement such a complex watch.

Richard went one step further, implementing an entirely new form of the rattrapante movement. This had never been done before by any other manufacturer.

The Pinch in Time

Stop/start is a crucial part of any chronograph if you want to accurately measure time. The faster the stop/start, the more accurately you can measure time.Omega Replica Rattrapante Mechanism of the omega seamaster replica, which is shared with the Omega Replica.

Richard wanted to try something new. Richard wanted to innovate the way the rattrapante operated.

The column wheel in Omega Replica

Richard was most concerned about inertia. To be more specific: the jumping of the rattrapante at start-up and stoppage, caused by the mass of the gears and hand, should be as much as possible eliminated. This can be achieved by using a titanium 'pincer,' in which both hands work simultaneously and are engaged at one point.

This is achieved by using two levers that are independently operated. The problem here is to make sure they both reach the gear at exactly the same time.

The 'pincers,' can be easily seen on the back of either the Omega Replica OR the omega seamaster replica. The secret to the pincers' perfect working lies in the complex profiles of three screws, which are not visible. Two large screws, one for each arm of the pincer, and one screw in the middle (Franck Muller Replica). The centre screw is a specially placed head that allows for fine and precise adjustment of both arms' arrival at the split seconds gear.

The initial production of the Omega Replica as well as the omega seamaster replica was slow. Like any new technology, there was an initial steep learning curve. Initially, the first versions of this movement needed some adjustments. It was not only about learning the timing or fine-tuning the pincer screw.
